Seventeen year old Colin McGill is about to graduate high school and enroll in computer programming classes when his uncle gambles away his tuition money.   

 

Days later, at school, Colin endures one insult too many from Angus Lithgow, a bully who has tormented hm all year. Colin sends him to the hospital. The police are called, and Colin is arrested.

 

A lawyer offers Colin the option to serve his sentence at Thunder Hollow on the island of Iona Scotland. Colin doesn’t know why he is being offered this option. But nothing could be worse than prison.  

 

Upon arriving at Thunder Hollow, Colin learns the truth about his origin and that his mis formed left hand is key to unlocking access to an alien intelligence with knowledge thousands of years ahead of our time.  

 

In the days that follow Colin’s many reckless choices push others living at the house to work against him. Putting all life forms on Earth at risk.
